The following updates were made to IWMS:
New Warehouse File (WM 2) Settings
Functionality to add UPC during RF Putaway
New Warehouse File (WM 2) Settings
New Putaway label setting (WM2 001) to show purchase/customer order info on special orders.
Value to designate serial# to be scanned in RF Receiving
Enter a single character, such as @, which allows the scanning of a serial number on the RF Putaway Scan.
How it works
Enter a @here...
...and in the Default Serial Number setting in the Manufacturer File (FIL 4).
This allows the warehouse personnel to scan in the serial number on the received items on the Putaway Scan.
If this feature is not activated, by entering a @ in WM2 1 and FIL 4, the serial number is automatically populated and can only be changed by entering an N in the Correct? setting.
New RF Options
Option 86 - Review Pallet
RF 86 gives you the ability to check what is inside an LPN or order by just scanning the LPN or order #.
It pulls up all the data that is associated with the LPN.
Press F2 to unfold it to see what items are on associated with each order line.
Option 87 - Item Lookup
This option shows locations in warehouse where an item is located.
This option brings the inventory inquiry functionality to the RF scanner. It shows all the locations where that inventory is and how much.
Functionality to add UPC during RF Putaway
This functionality was added the only way to add a UPC number during receiving was option 1; which was rarely used.
Now it is available in option 2 of the RF scanner, when receiving goods.
Enter a UPC label.
When you press Enter the UPC code shows up on the RF device AND in the item file.
