Print Orders as Proforma Invoices

The Proforma invoice prints on an 8 1/2 by 11 plain paper. The Proforma invoice also shows Item Class 1 & Country Of Origin for each product - making this form ideal for exports.

The format includes information from Installation Scheduler when appropriate.

Setup Notes for Proforma Invoices

If the user has the Forms Type = L for Print Orders in their control panel (SET 1), the Proforma Invoice will print on a laser in portrait style. Otherwise the Proforma invoice prints on the landscape form.

Running Proforma Invoices

  1. Select option CUS 22 - Print Orders as Proforma Invoices.
  2. Enter the orders you want to print. Decide if you want to print only open lines or all order lines. Press Enter and then F7 to print the Proforma Invoice.
  3. Since the Proforma invoice is used mainly for exports, the Country of Origin, for each detail line, is printed right beside the item description,

    4. To get the country of origin the program looks for an item attribute defined beginning with the word COUNTRY or ORIGIN. You can check item attributes of an item using F16 in Item File. If the country found in attribute is a 2-character code, then the program will see if that is a country code that is in the COUNTRY File, and if so it will print the Country File Description instead of the code. If the country found in attribute is NOT a 2-character code, then it is assumed that the attribute is the country name and it will print what is entered.
