Print Select Statements (AR 13)
You can run statements on forms at any time of the month for specified customers. The statements look identical to regular end-of-the-month statements and account for all transactions posted to date.
- On the A/R menu, enter option 13 - Print Select Statements, and press Enter. The system prompts you to enter account numbers.
- Enter up to three six-digit customer account numbers for which you want to run statements. Enter the numbers consecutively, and don't not skip any character space between each customer account number and press Enter.
- Enter the date (in MMDDYY format) and press Enter. A message appears asking you to enter your choice.
- Enter an option number, and press Enter. The program runs a statement for each selected customer account number in the format that you selected.
The system prompts you to enter the date you want to appear on the statements.
Option 2 - Balance Forward Format
Balance Forward statements list the account's balance at the end of the last closed month, followed by all transactions (invoices, payments) posted in the current month. In general, you should use the Balance Forward format for customers who pay by statement.
Option 3 - Open Invoice Format
Open Invoice statements list all open items for an account. This format is best for past due accounts. Open invoice statements list all open items for an account. You should use Open Invoice format for Customers who pay by invoice.
Ability to Print AR Statements using an Overlay
Using the Options for Printing A/R Statements you can direct the system to print AR statements on an overlay that is clearly and logically organized. This eliminates the need to use pre-printed forms.
AR Statement Overlays offer the following advantages:
- reduced forms cost
- ability to print and auto-fax statements with the look of a pre-printed form
A standard overly shell, ARSTOVL0, is available. This default shell does not contain any logos or any other customization. If you want to add your logo, a custom overlay must be created at an additional cost.
Printing overlays requires a printer that conforms to IBM program standards (IPDS).
